Assessment of Fees

Client’s can apply to have their Advocates’ Fees assessed in the following circumstances:

• The fees in question are those charged by your Advocate;
• The bill relates to any proceedings before any Court or Tribunal or to any proposed proceedings or conveyancing services; and
• The bill was issued within the last 6 months

The Law Society will begin the procedure on receipt of a completed Application Form and a fee of £50.
