Legal Services Review 2023

The Isle of Man Law Society welcomed the publication of the Independent Review into Legal Services (“the Review”), undertaken by Lord Garnier KC, publicised in 2023.  The Law Society are pleased to note that Lord Garnier KC has found that the provision of legal services within the Island, whilst in need of update in some areas, is far removed from the bleak picture presented by Tynwald’s own Justice Committee which had previously issued its own headline that the same was in urgent need of reform.
